Yet Another Sensible Idea from Another Country

Here is another reason the Turks are ahead of the game.

Our bus holds a disk that is the general size and shape of a CD but is as thin as paper. When inserted it records the driving speed for up to about 5 hours, after which the disk is replaced.  The driver must keep at least one week's worth of completed disks, in case he or she is stopped by the police for any reason or just a routine check. That way the authorities can tell if speed limits have been breached at any point over the lifetime of the disks.

Not a bad idea. Now why didn't we think of that?
